About MACyCON 2023

This conference intends to be a revision of the accepted and established aspects of cytology while updating and apprising the newer facets and recent advances that have promising practical implications. The scientific program will include topics of common interest (such as thyroid, breast, lymph nodes and cervical smear) that will not only cover the basics but also discuss such latest diagnostic and prognostic applications of cytology. Stimulating lectures of practical importance in which eminent cytologists of national and international repute will share their knowledge and experience, that will definitely benefit both budding and practicing cytopathologists. Advances in molecular techniques have expanded and improved the role of cytologists in diagnostics and therapeutics. Molecular marker testing and mutational analyses offer significant promise in preoperative diagnosis of various lesions. These recent advances and trends in the role of cytology will also be highlighted. Along with the lectures interesting slide seminars, glass slide viewing of commonly encountered lesions in daily practice will also be a part of MACyCON2023 to be held on 4th and 5th February, 2023.
